About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the ACS-Hach Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Scholarship to support recent graduates and graduate students with limited work experience who aspire to become high school chemistry teachers. The scholarship provides stipends of up to $6,000 for full-time study or $3,000 for part-time study, renewable for up to three years, to cover tuition, books, and other education-related expenses. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or a related field, and be pursuing a master’s degree in education or chemistry/science teacher certification.
