Institutional Award for Excellence in Promoting Cardiovascular Care

The Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA) offers the Institutional Award for Excellence in Promoting Cardiovascular Care to recognize hospitals or academic institutions that advance cardiovascular nursing leadership, education, training, innovation, and evidence-based patient care. The selected institution receives a plaque, public and journal recognition, opportunities to present and showcase its work at the Annual Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium, and one complimentary meeting registration. Eligible institutions should be located within approximately 200 miles of the symposium and demonstrate excellence in cardiovascular care across areas such as interventions, rehabilitation, acute care, risk-factor management, counseling, or education. Applications open July 1, and all submissions and supporting letters are due by December 6.
