International Scholarships for Surgical Education

About this program

The American College of Surgeons Division of Education and International Relations Committee offers two International Scholarships for Surgical Education, each a $10,000 stipend to support young faculty (from countries other than the United States and Canada) in faculty-development activities, including attendance at the ACS Clinical Congress (2025: Chicago, IL) and follow-up visits to Level I ACS‑Accredited Education Institutes or equivalent centers; funds cover travel, per diem, and course fees, and Clinical Congress registration is provided. Applicants must be young faculty based outside the US and Canada, submit the required ACS biosketch template, provide evidence of support from home institution leadership (used in selection), and agree to submit a brief post-visit report describing outcomes.
