About this program
The IPRA Foundation Peace Research Grants support individual scholars undertaking small peace research projects, with awards of up to $5,000. Applications are accepted during scheduled cycles; the current period is closed and will reopen January 1, 2027, while the 2026 Cycle 2 has been canceled due to funding constraints. Grants are awarded to individuals, not institutions or organizations, and applicants may receive only one grant from the Foundation’s peace research programs. Budgets may not include overhead, indirect administrative costs, rent, or normal living expenses.
