About this program

ISAKOS is offering biennial Research Grants to fund high-quality international clinical and translational research in arthroscopy, knee surgery, and orthopaedic sports medicine, with awards ranging from $10,000–$50,000. Grants are available in four categories (New Researcher, Translational Research, Clinical Outcomes, and Countries with Limited Resources); most projects must be completed within two years (Clinical Outcomes grants may extend up to five years). The principal investigator must be an Active ISAKOS member in good standing, proposals must be clinical or translational (live patients, cadavers, or animals), and applicants are limited to one submission per funding term. New Researcher applicants must have received less than $15,000 in external funding and have minimal prior research/publication history, and institutional and committee-member exclusions apply.
