ISEH Outstanding Mentor Award

About this program

The International Society for Experimental Hematology (ISEH) annually confers the Outstanding Mentor Award, an honorific recognition for an ISEH member who has demonstrated exceptional scientific mentorship fostering the academic and professional development of trainees and early independent investigators in experimental hematology. Awardees should show sustained commitment to mentoring across institutional and national boundaries with demonstrable positive impact on mentees’ careers; the award is honorific (no monetary amount) and may be received only once. Eligible candidates must have been ISEH members for at least three consecutive years and have actively supervised or mentored PhD students, trainees, postdoctoral researchers, and/or junior faculty for five or more years, with preference for those with a documented track record of mentoring beyond their own laboratory and within the ISEH community.
