ISHLT Noninvasive Biomarker Research on Lung Transplant Patient Care with Donor-Derived Cell-Free DNA Grant

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), supported by CareDx, offers two one-year grants of up to $40,000 to investigate donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) for noninvasive monitoring of lung allograft injury, rejection, graft health, and treatment response. One award supports research conducted in the United States and one supports research conducted outside the United States. Applicants must hold an academic or clinical appointment, or be trainees with an accepted faculty position or institutional commitment, at an accredited institution, and must be current ISHLT members or have submitted a membership application by the stated deadline. CareDx employees and applicants with undisclosed or unresolved substantial conflicts of interest are ineligible.
