ISHLT Novel Approaches for FDA Cleared Preservation Systems in DCD Heart Transplantation Research Grant

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), supported by Paragonix Technologies, offers one two-year grant of up to $75,000 for clinical or translational research that reduces the cost of donation-after-circulatory-death heart transplantation using FDA-cleared hypothermic preservation systems. Projects may develop innovative donor- or recipient-site techniques, including in-situ or ex-situ organ management, with potential for immediate clinical application; basic science and non-FDA-cleared products are excluded. Applicants must hold or be pursuing an academic or clinical appointment at an accredited institution, maintain or apply for ISHLT membership, and disclose potential conflicts with Paragonix; Paragonix employees are ineligible.
