ISHLT/Enduring Hearts Transplant Longevity Research Grant

About this program

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) and Enduring Hearts offer up to $160,000 every other year for research on factors affecting pediatric heart transplant longevity and quality of life. Projects should address priority areas such as rejection surveillance, cardiac allograft vasculopathy, immunotherapies, organ availability, adherence, or nutrition and exercise, with strong potential for clinical translation within five years. Applicants must be ISHLT members in good standing who have completed clinical or postdoctoral training, including new investigators, and must conduct the work at an eligible accredited nonprofit institution. Projects may not duplicate or substantially overlap existing funding.
