About this program
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) Issues in Aging Focus Group Award recognizes exceptional scholarly work addressing aging and presents certificates to one student or new professional and one professional at the NCFR Annual Conference. Eligible applicants must have submitted an accepted conference proposal focused on aging for that year’s conference, and at least one research article author must be an NCFR member. There is no separate application or required submission; eligible proposals are identified from the conference proposal pool. The application deadline is May 22, with winners notified by July 15.
