The J. Bulow Campbell Foundation awards grants to tax‑exempt nonprofit organizations through quarterly board consideration and requires submission of a one‑page letter of request; applicants are encouraged to contact Foundation staff (404-658-9066, info@jbcf.org) before applying and should observe deadlines of Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, and Oct 1. Letters must be one page and include the organization’s legal name, concise mission and leading programs with service statistics, a brief description of grant use, total project/campaign goal and amount raised to date, a specific dollar request, project start and end dates, two signatures (board chair and chief administrative officer), and a copy of the IRS determination letter showing tax‑exempt status and classification as not a private foundation. After preliminary review applicants will be notified; selected requests may undergo a staff study and onsite visit prior to final board consideration, personal appearances before trustees are not permitted, declined applicants must wait one year to reapply, and current grantees may not apply for new grants until existing grants are closed.
