Jacobs Research Fund - Anthropological Research Grants

About this program

The Jacobs Research Fund offers grants for anthropological (socio-cultural or linguistic) research on Indigenous peoples of Canada, Mexico, and the mainland United States (including Alaska), with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest. Funded topics include language, social and political organization, religion, mythology, music and other arts, psychology, and folk science. Applications are due February 15 with decisions usually by May 1; application forms and instructions are available at www.jacobsgrants.org and inquiries can be directed to the Jacobs Fund Coordinator.
