The Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy offers the Jeffrey E. Barnett Psychotherapy Research Paper Award for the best paper examining psychotherapist factors that influence treatment effectiveness and outcomes, with a $500 cash prize, certificate, and national recognition. Applicants must be Society members and submit work based on research conducted by the first author no more than two years after completion of a graduate degree.
