Division 20 of the American Psychological Association offers the John Santos Distinguished Program Development in Clinical Gerontology Award to honor leadership in developing clinical gerontology programs that positively affect older persons. The recipient receives a $1,500 cash award at the APA Annual Convention. Nominees need not belong to Division 20 but must be nominated and endorsed by a Division 20 member by April 15, 2027. Applications must include a nomination letter, current CV, evidence of impact, the nominee’s statement of current and future work, and at least two additional support letters, including one from a Division 20 member and one from someone familiar with the program’s effects.
