John Stecklein Distinguished Member Award

About this program

The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) presents the John Stecklein Distinguished Member Award to honor an active member whose sustained career contributions have significantly advanced institutional research through leadership, service, mentorship, scholarship, and service to AIR. Nominees must be active AIR members and nominations must be submitted by a primary nominator who is a current AIR member. Submit a single PDF via email to awards@airweb.org with subject line "Nomination Packet: John Stecklein Distinguished Member Award" containing a two-page maximum cover letter addressing the criteria, 2–5 letters of support (at least two from current AIR members), an abbreviated CV (≤5 pages), nominee contact information, and up to one page of additional evidence; AIR staff may not contribute to packets. There is no monetary award listed and the program status is open; confirm current deadlines and procedures with AIR before submission.
