John W. Rippon Research Award

About this program

The Mycological Society of America’s John W. Rippon Research Award supports innovative graduate research on medically important fungi, including studies of mycoses, mycotoxicoses, mycoallergies, and mycetismus across clinical and related scientific fields. M.S. and Ph.D. students are eligible and must be current MSA members or have applied for membership by the February 1 deadline. Applications require a form, a CV of no more than three pages, a study plan of no more than five pages with a budget and timeline, and a letter of support submitted directly by the major professor.
