Johnson & Johnson Early Career Innovator Award focused on inflammatory skin disorders

The Dermatology Foundation, with support from Johnson & Johnson, offers the Early Career Innovator Award to advance innovative basic, clinical, or translational research on inflammatory skin disorders. Projects should deepen understanding of dermatological conditions associated with inflammation and produce impactful findings. Applicants must be MD or MD/PhD early-career investigators within five years of their initial assistant professor appointment, with a primary faculty appointment in an accredited dermatology department and relevant research training and commitment. Research must be conducted in the U.S. under an ACGME-approved dermatology department, and applicants must have completed at least one year of a Dermatology Foundation Career Development Award or similar funding, or returned such an award after receiving federal funding; applications for the 2027 cycle are due December 1, 2026.
