About this program
The USHJA Foundation offers the J.T. Tallon Memorial Equitation Grant to honor J.T. Tallon's legacy by supporting junior equestrian athletes with limited financial resources who have qualified for a national equitation final at a fence height of 3' or higher. This $1,000 grant aims to help cover expenses related to attending the national championship. Eligibility requires active USHJA membership, US citizenship or legal residency, and demonstrated financial need, excluding pony riders and previous recipients. Applications are currently open, with recipients notified by the end of August.
