Julius Goodman Resident Award

About this program

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons awards the annual Julius Goodman Resident Award, a $500 cash prize presented at the CNS meeting for the best abstract on a socioeconomic topic. Winners are chosen from abstracts submitted to the CNS annual meeting by the Program Committee and judged on originality, merit, innovation, and scientific process; there is no separate application. Eligible candidates are neurosurgery residents who have made a significant contribution to the submitted abstract, and the committee may withhold the award in years when no submission meets the standards.
