About this program

FSGA Future of Golf Foundation provides Junior Golf Grants to help Florida junior golfers offset entry fees, hotel and travel costs for FSGA/FJT and national junior competitions, offering reduced FJT entry fees (approximately 50–75% for the season), partial travel reimbursements, and specified national-championship awards ($2,000 for USGA events outside Florida; $1,500 for USGA events in Florida; U.S. Four‑Ball awards of $1,500 per partner outside Florida and $1,000 per partner in Florida). General assistance applicants must be U.S. citizens, Florida residents under 19 who are not enrolled full‑time in college, demonstrate financial need, have an SSN or ITIN, compete in events more than 75 miles from home, submit scores for all rounds, and apply at least three weeks before the tournament. National championship funding requires Florida residency, amateur status with USGA qualification or exemption, active FSGA or FJT competition, being under 30 on the first day of the Championship, and an SSN or ITIN; approvals are valid May–April and must be renewed annually with the prior year’s Form 1040, and the FSGA may revoke assistance for code‑of‑conduct breaches.
