The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture

About this program

The Garden Club of America offers the Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture to support education and research in horticulture and related fields, with awards of up to $3,500 and potential second-year funding of up to $1,000. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, actively enrolled at a U.S. institution in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia, and entering their sophomore, junior, senior, or master’s year in fall 2027. Candidates should major in horticulture or a related field and generally have a GPA of at least 3.5; applications are due January 15, and applicants may apply for only one GCA scholarship, fellowship, or award annually.
