KCNA Community Grants (Community-Based Health Projects Grant Program)

About this program

The King County Nurses Association (KCNA) Community-Based Health Projects Grant Program funds community-based health initiatives in King County through two grant types: General Grants ($500-$1,250) for projects such as health education and safety programs, and Elizabeth Thomas Memorial Grants ($500-$2,000) specifically supporting infants, children, teens, and families from diverse communities. Applicants must be KCNA members collaborating with at least one community organization, and projects must be implemented within 12 months and address a current health need in King County. Funding cannot support invasive procedures, human subjects review, lobbying, individual continuing education, or fundraising for other organizations. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis with no specified deadline.
