Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award

The Association of School Business Officials’ Maryland chapter (MD ASBO), with sponsorship from American Fidelity, offers the annual Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award to recognize a member’s leadership, volunteerism, and commitment to advancing school business officials. The award covers registration, one year of ASBO International membership, hotel accommodations, travel, and meals for the ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo. Applicants must be current MD ASBO members for at least three consecutive years, employed full time in an eligible school business discipline, and have served on an MD ASBO committee for at least three years or currently serve on the Board of Directors with a recommendation. A 1–2-page statement addressing the applicant’s MD ASBO roles, professional development, and leadership commitment is due to the Executive Director by April 1.
