Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award

The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), sponsored by American Fidelity, offers the annual Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award to recognize a Maryland ASBO member who demonstrates leadership, volunteerism, and commitment to the organization. The award supports professional development through ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo registration, one year of ASBO International membership, travel, lodging, and meals. Applicants must have been current MD ASBO members for at least three consecutive years, work full time in an MD ASBO-recognized school business discipline, and serve on an MD ASBO committee for at least three years or be a Board of Directors member with a recommendation. A 1–2-page application addressing the applicant’s MD ASBO role, professional development, and leadership commitment is due to the Executive Director by April 1.
