Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award

The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), sponsored by American Fidelity, offers the annual Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award to support leadership development among Maryland school business officials. The award covers registration, one-year ASBO International membership, hotel accommodations, travel, and meals for the ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo. Applicants must be current MD ASBO members with at least three consecutive years of membership, work full time in an eligible school business discipline, and have served on an MD ASBO committee for at least three years or currently sit on its Board of Directors with a recommendation. A 1–2-page statement addressing the applicant’s MD ASBO service, professional development, and commitment to school business leadership is due to the Executive Director by April 1.
