Ken Nickoles Award

About this program

The Association of School Business Officials, sponsored by American Fidelity, offers the annual Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award to recognize an MD ASBO member demonstrating exceptional leadership, volunteerism, and commitment to developing school business officials. The award covers registration, one year of ASBO International membership, hotel accommodations, travel, and meals for the ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo. Applicants must be current MD ASBO members with at least three consecutive years of membership, full-time school business employees in an eligible discipline, and either have served on an MD ASBO committee for at least three years or be current Board members with a recommendation. A 1–2-page application describing the applicant’s MD ASBO roles, professional development, and leadership commitment is due to the Executive Director by April 1.
