P-IE Kenneth and Barbara Starks Graduate Student Award

The Entomological Society of America’s Plant-Insect Ecosystems (P-IE) Section offers the Kenneth and Barbara Starks Graduate Student Award to recognize innovative doctoral research that advances knowledge of plant-insect interactions. The annual award includes a $1,000 prize, plaque, and waiver of P-IE registration for the ESA Annual Meeting. Nominees must be PhD students in entomology at an accredited university and members of both ESA and the P-IE Section. Faculty nominations, due June 1 annually, must include a nomination letter, the student’s research statement, CV, and one letter of support.
