Keynote Presenter Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers the Keynote Presenter Grant to provide travel reimbursement—typically $1,500 per presenter per conference—to support invited speakers at gatherings of psychology teachers (4‑year colleges/universities, 2‑year colleges, or high schools). STP may provide additional funds in special circumstances (e.g., international presenters or necessary accommodations); conferences are expected to fund or waive the presenter’s registration and reimbursable expenses must follow STP’s Travel Reimbursement Guidelines. Applicants must be STP members; typical applicants are conference organizers requesting support for invited presenters, and STP will not fund presenters for conferences that have already received other STP funding; applications from individuals from underrepresented or diverse backgrounds are encouraged. Applications are submitted via the STP application portal (login required) and awards are made twice yearly with deadlines of April 1 (for conferences after that April) and October 1 (for conferences in the following calendar year).
