Keynote Presenter Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers the Keynote Presenter Grant to provide travel reimbursement for presenters invited to speak at gatherings of psychology teachers (4‑year universities, 2‑year colleges, or high schools). STP typically awards $1,500 per presenter/conference for travel and may provide additional funds in special circumstances (e.g., international presenters or necessary accommodations); conferences are expected to fund or waive presenter registration and all reimbursements must follow STP's Travel Reimbursement Guidelines. Applicants must be STP members who coordinate eligible gatherings; the program will not fund presenters for conferences already receiving other STP funding, and applications from colleagues from underrepresented groups are encouraged. Awards are made twice yearly with application deadlines of April 1 and October 1 (see timing rules for which conference dates each deadline covers); apply via the STP website (login required) or contact presenter-grant@teachpsych.org.
