Keynote Presenter Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers the Keynote Presenter Grant to reimburse travel costs for presenters at gatherings of psychology teachers (4‑year colleges/universities, 2‑year colleges, or high schools), typically providing $1,500 per presenter per conference with higher amounts possible for special circumstances (e.g., international travel or necessary accommodations); conferences are expected to fund or waive the presenter’s registration. Applicants must be STP members and present at eligible gatherings; the program will not fund presenters for conferences where STP has provided other sources of funding. Grants are awarded twice yearly (October 1 and April 1—October awards fund the following calendar year; April awards fund conferences after that April); applications are submitted via the STP website (login required) and reimbursable expenses must follow STP’s Travel Reimbursement Guidelines.
