Kissick Family Foundation Frontotemporal Dementia Grant Program (2025-2026)

About this program

The Kissick Family Foundation, in partnership with the Milken Institute’s SPARC, will fund up to five two-year projects investigating the fundamental biology, mechanisms, biomarkers, and early therapeutic targets of sporadic frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Awards provide up to $500,000 over two years, including indirect costs, for basic or early-stage translational research; clinical trials and studies focused exclusively on familial FTD are excluded. Eligible applicants are independent, doctoral-level investigators at nonprofit academic or research institutions worldwide, including qualified governmental agencies, with multidisciplinary and new or early-stage investigators encouraged to apply. Letters of intent were due November 3, 2025, and invited full proposals are due February 9, 2026, through the SPARC online portal.
