About this program
The Kissick Family Foundation, in partnership with SPARC, offers annual grants to advance fundamental and early-stage translational research on sporadic frontotemporal dementia (FTD), including disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and treatment targets. Up to five two-year awards of $500,000 each, inclusive of indirect costs, are available to strengthen the FTD research ecosystem and accelerate scientific progress. Applicants must propose rigorous, innovative projects focused specifically on sporadic FTD cases without a known genetic link or strong family history.
