Klopsteg Memorial Lecture Award

About this program

The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) awards the Paul E. Klopsteg Memorial Lecture to recognize outstanding communicators who convey the excitement of contemporary physics to the general public; the recipient delivers the Klopsteg Lecture at an AAPT Summer Meeting on a topic of current significance at a level suitable for non-specialists. The award includes a monetary prize, an award certificate, and travel expenses to the meeting. Self-nomination is not permitted, nominations must be submitted via AAPT’s nomination form, and preference is given to AAPT members.
