About this program
The Landscape Architecture Foundation, with support from Landscape Forms, offers the $5,000 Shane Coen Scholarship for Diversity in Design to honor Shane Coen’s legacy and support inclusive, community-focused landscape architecture. The award assists BIPOC students pursuing undergraduate landscape architecture degrees in the United States or Canada. Applicants must be enrolled in an LAAB- or LAAC-accredited program, demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and commitment to the discipline, and may not be in their final year of study. Applications are due February 1 and require a financial aid form, professor recommendation, resume, bio, headshot, and a 500-word essay.
