Latin American Travel Award

About this program

Animal Behavior Society offers Latin American Travel Awards to increase participation of Latin American researchers at its annual meetings by helping to defray international travel, housing, and meal costs for presenters. Award amounts vary according to available funds. Eligible applicants are graduate students enrolled at Latin American institutions who will present a talk or poster at the ABS meeting, with priority given to Ph.D. students attending ABS for the first time and to those who have not previously received the award. Applications are submitted via the ABS online abstract submission system and must include the submitted abstract (with title), a curriculum vitae, and a brief statement of prior ABS attendance and prior Latin American Travel Awards; candidates are prioritized based on abstract and CV quality.
