Lawrence H. Cohen Outstanding Mentor Award

The Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP) offers the Lawrence H. Cohen Outstanding Mentor Award annually to recognize an outstanding senior clinical scientist who has made exceptional contributions to mentoring clinical psychology trainees. Eligible nominees must be current SSCP members in good standing with substantial mentoring experience involving graduate students, interns, and/or postdoctoral fellows. Nominations may be submitted by current or former trainees or knowledgeable colleagues and must include a nomination letter, justification, trainee list and positions, and at least three supporting letters from former mentees (two if the nominator is a former mentee). Applications should be emailed as a single document to the SSCP president by March 15.
