About this program

The Hip Society’s Legacy Research Fund (LRF) is a strategic, long-term fundraising initiative to support member-driven research in hip disorders and to advance musculoskeletal patient care, surgical innovation, and leadership. Donations may be made as recurring (monthly or annual) or one-time gifts via the DonorPerfect portal or by check payable to The Hip Society (memo: HS Legacy Research Fund); reported proceeds have grown from $20,200 in 2022 to $42,628.90 in 2024. Gifts may be designated in honor or memory of individuals, and contributions are accepted from Hip Society members and other donors.
