Lesley Brennan Spinal Rehabilitation Nursing Research Grant

About this program

The Australasian Rehabilitation Nurses’ Association (ARNA) funds the Lesley Brennan Spinal Rehabilitation Nursing Research Grant to support nursing research in spinal rehabilitation, covering costs such as salary replacement, research assistant salaries, departmental services, statisticians/experts, administrative fees, telecommunications, travel and accommodation for data collection, and computer software. Eligible applicants must be voting ARNA members with a minimum of two consecutive years of financial membership prior to application; grants are awarded for an 18‑month period (extensions may be requested before the period ends) and unexpended funds may be recovered if not used. Applications are assessed by the ARNA National Research Sub‑Committee with members of Lesley Brennan’s family invited to participate, successful applicants are notified within six weeks of closing, and applicants should consult full submission guidelines or contact arna@arna.com.au; applications close 31 March.
