Letter of Inquiry (LOI) - Anschutz Family Foundation

About this program

The Anschutz Family Foundation invites nonprofit organizations to submit a one- to two-page Letter of Inquiry (LOI) via its online grantee portal to demonstrate alignment with the Foundation’s funding priorities before being invited to submit a full grant application. LOIs can be submitted at any time (portal account required); the Foundation typically responds within three to four weeks and encourages LOIs from first-time applicants, organizations previously declined, or those unsure of fit — inquiries submitted within three weeks of grant deadlines (January 15 or July 1) may be reviewed in the next cycle. Applicants must upload an IRS Determination Letter and include a brief overview of programs and services, number served, geographic and beneficiary focus, current and prospective funding, the specific request, and the nature and purpose of the grant. The Anschutz Family Foundation is a separate entity from The Anschutz Foundation.
