About this program
Liberty Mutual Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Liberty Mutual Insurance, awards discretionary grants to nonprofit organizations that advance security and build resilience for vulnerable people and communities. Since 2003 the foundation has awarded more than $500 million to over 1,300 grantees and funds projects aligned with its strategic grantmaking framework and priority RFP areas. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations with programs that empower individuals facing hardship and must align with the foundation’s priority funding areas; current geographic focus includes Boston and select Greater Boston areas and Washington State.
