The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) offer two annual $2,500 Broadcast Historian Awards: the Book Award for an educator who has published a book on broadcast/media history and the Creative Award for an educator who has produced a related documentary or multimedia project. Nominees must be current individual BEA members and must have completed the qualifying work within the previous two years. Nominations open September 1, close December 15, and winners are announced February 15 and recognized at the BEA Opening Awards Ceremony in April 2027.
