Liliane Striker Young Investigator Award

About this program

Renal Pathology Society’s Liliane Striker Young Investigator Award honors outstanding renal pathology research by early-career investigators, providing a $500 (US) prize and certificate to a recipient selected from abstracts submitted to ASN or USCAP that calendar year. Eligible applicants are renal pathology fellows, post‑doctoral fellows, and junior faculty (instructor or assistant professor with <3 years in rank) who are first authors on an ASN or USCAP abstract. Nominations must include a copy of the abstract and a short letter of support from an RPS faculty member (the nominating faculty should be a co‑author or from the same institution); RPS membership is recommended for fellows and mandatory for junior faculty, and at least three nominated abstracts are required for consideration. A nomination call is issued annually (by Sept 15 at the latest), members have two weeks to nominate, and nominations should be emailed to the Chair of the Nomination & Award Committee.
