Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize for Advancement in the Understanding of Polycystic Kidney Disease

The International Society of Nephrology’s Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize recognizes individuals whose seminal scientific work has materially advanced knowledge and treatment of polycystic kidney disease (PKD); more than one prize may be awarded and recipients may be residents of any country. The award honors major basic or clinical advances in PKD research and is decided by an advisory committee that includes ISN and PKD Foundation representatives, with presentation at the ISN World Congress of Nephrology. Nominations must include the nominator’s name, ISN membership number and contact information; the nominee’s full name and contact details; a support statement explaining how the nominee’s work represents a major, distinctive advance; the nominee’s CV and bibliography; and at least two letters of support.
