Limited Project Grant

About this program

The Research Foundation of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) offers Limited Project Grants of up to $25,000 for one year to support investigator-initiated, hypothesis-driven research relevant to colon and rectal surgery. Awards support direct costs only, exclude principal investigator salary and consortium arrangements, and are offered in even-numbered years with applications due March 15. Projects must be conducted in the United States or Canada, and an ASCRS member must serve as principal or co-principal investigator. Required institutional approvals must be obtained before submission for projects involving human or animal subjects; applicants need an ASCRS account but do not have to be members.
