About this program
Phi Kappa Phi offers Literacy Grants of up to $2,500 to support new or ongoing literacy initiatives serving children through adults. Funds may cover project supplies, materials, publicity, and postage, but not salaries or stipends; applications are accepted December 15, 2026, through April 1, 2027. Eligible applicants are Phi Kappa Phi chapters or individual members, and the project director must be an active, dues-current member. Sitting Society board members, divisional vice presidents, Literacy Award Committee members, and Society employees are ineligible.
