The Florida Bar Foundation (FFLA) offers the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) to support civil legal aid attorneys by providing $10,000 annually as a forgivable loan to help repay student debt. This program aims to strengthen legal assistance for low-income individuals by aiding in the recruitment and retention of qualified attorneys. Eligibility requires full-time or at least 50% FTE employment with a civil legal aid organization receiving FFLA grants, admission to The Florida Bar by the end of the first year after selection, and compliance with program requirements. Applicants must also remain members in good standing of The Florida Bar.
