About this program

American Chemical Society Younger Chemists Committee offers the Local Section Younger Chemists Committee (LSYCC) Grant to support the creation, revitalization, or programming of local section Younger Chemists Committees and their events. Awards provide up to $500 to start or revitalize an LSYCC, support a local section YCC event, or fund a local section YCC event at a regional or national meeting. Eligible applicants are local section YCCs of the American Chemical Society; proposals should address starting/revitalizing an LSYCC or supporting YCC events. Proposals are accepted with recurring deadlines of March 1 and August 1, are reviewed the weekend before national ACS meetings with notifications within a week after the meeting, and inquiries/submissions may be sent to info@acsycc.org.
