About this program

Denver Audubon’s Lois Webster Fund supports Colorado non-game wildlife research and education projects that advance conservation of wildlife species and their habitats. The fund typically awards $500–$5,000 for one-year projects, with $19,000 available in the current cycle; successful grantees may reapply for additional years. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, students and teachers affiliated with schools or higher education, and local, state, or federal public land and natural resource agencies. Funded projects must partner with like organizations and focus on Colorado non-game wildlife research, education, habitat restoration, or population management.
