Loudoun Community Response Initiative

About this program

The Community Foundation’s Loudoun Community Response Initiative, launched in 2025 and backed by a major Loudoun County investment (with potential private donations), administers the Loudoun Community Response Fund to bolster local nonprofit capacity to meet rising community needs. Grants support crisis intervention and diversion, improved human services, long-term support and prevention, self-sufficiency (financial stability, well‑being, safety), and nonprofit durability (staff resilience and organizational wellbeing), with Round One (Oct 2025) prioritizing Increased Service Demands, Gap Funding, and New or Emerging Needs. A targeted Housing Displacement Support Grant (Oct 2025) will fund a nonprofit to administer displacement assistance for residents of mobile or manufactured home communities. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations serving Loudoun County (individuals are ineligible); specific award amounts are not specified and additional opportunities are expected over the following 12 months.
