About this program

The Cancer Research Society is investing $2 million in translational lung cancer research, supporting four projects focused on early detection, more effective treatments, and mechanisms of resistance to current therapies. Each grant provides up to $500,000 over three years, with letters of intent due May 13, 2026, and full applications due September 9, 2026. Principal investigators and co-applicants must hold research positions at Canadian institutions and be eligible to administer research funds. Applicants must submit a letter of intent through Proposal Central and may be invited to submit a full application for peer review.
